TK MAXX Fund :D

09:04 Luna Solaris 0 Comments

TonyMoly Cutie Beauty Pure Angel Amy BB Cream Review

07:45 Luna Solaris 1 Comments

" Tonymoly Cutie Beauty BB Cream is a multi-functional BB Cream, with anti-wrinkle, whitening, and sun protection (SPF36/PA++) effects.  Available in three distinct formulas to suit your most urgent skincare needs:
02 Pure Angel Amy - Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid for moisturizing and moisture retention, and makes the skin actively glowing.  Perfect for those with dry skin! "

The TonyMoly BB Creams from the Cutie Beauty Line come in one shade only. It is a light beige with a slightly greyish cast. Pure Angel Amy is especially for drier skin, so again not the best match for my oilier skin but I just had to buy it because of the cute packaging >.< (on a side note: I actually thought this would be the pink bottle and I love pink especially when its used in cute packaging ^^, but the seller put the wrong picture in the description... )
As it is quite moisturizing this leaves a dewy finish after application and I looked quite shiny after a few hours (I had set my make up with powder).
So those with dry skin should try this BB Cream out :)

Similar to the Skin79 I didn't like the scent of this cream as well because it smells a bit like those old lady foundations >.< not too pleasent to me... and even though the smell faded after a while, I still sometimes had the feeling I would get a whiff of it ._.

The coverage is pretty good it evens out redness and most discolorations :) So overall this is a decent BB Cream for me.

Skin79 The Oriental Gold BB Cream Review

07:35 Luna Solaris 0 Comments

The product claims:

" Triple effect BB cream keeps skin more resilient and brilliant
with natural ingredients improving skin into glossy and sleek status,
more completely protecting skin exposed to UV rays.

The oriental tea blending ingredients including White Tea, Green Tea and Black Tea
keep skin brighter and firmer.
Two patent ingredients of The Oriental Tea Newplex and Natural Complex Extract
keep skin healthy by protecting skin from outer harmful substances. "
Again this BB Cream comes in one shade only. It's quite light and with a grey to yellowish undertone. As it claims it gives a very dewy finish and is aimed for drier skin types so it's not the best match for me ^^
I still wanted to try it out though because I liked the concept of it having a cream blush included in the cap and I read quite a lot of good reviews about it.
I have to say that I don't like it as much because it feels pretty sticky when I apply it and it does take quite a while until it settles into my skin. But I guess thats mostly with all moisturizing BB Creams because they just don't work with my oily skin. Nevertheless after I set it with powder it lasts quite a while, but I will look a bit shiny after a few hours.
Another downside for me is the smell, similar to the lioele BB Cream the Skin79 has quite an artificial creamy scent and it reminds me of one of those old foundation samples my mom used to have s: I don't really know how to describe it but it isn't very pleasant to me.
The scent will fade away after a while of wearing so it's probably not a big deal.
The cream blush comes in a pretty baby pink shade and has a very siliconey feel to it. I had to layer it quite a bit and it only gives a very natural finish. On the lips it feels a little bit drying because it turns into a more powdery consistency after application.

When I look through my older BB Cream Reviews it seems like the Skin79 and the TonyMoly Cotton BB Cream wouldn't give as much coverage as the other ones but that's only because of the different lighting =/ The other photos were shot under artificial light and I guess it kind of washes the spot marks out as well as reflects the light because of the SPF in those BB Creams and therefore seems like it would give a smoother finish.
I personally think that all of them give similar coverage (light to medium, buildable) but the Skinfood Apple and Cinnamon BB Cream feels the lightest on my skin :)

Nagaya's HT Würzburg

03:05 Luna Solaris 0 Comments

Große Auswahl an Sushi, mein Favorit: Tempura Sushi (frittiert)

Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream Review

01:45 Luna Solaris 0 Comments

The product claims :

" Smooth application allows clear absorption for expressing a natural skin tone. Speedy application of make up is possible since there is no need to apply make up base of foundation. "

I think this BB Cream only comes in one shade either. It has peachy to yellowy undertones which makes it quite a good fit for asian skin. It's around NC 20 I would say.
It gives quite a dewy finish and I can feel it sit on my skin for quite a while that's why I didn't like this BB Cream so much when I first tried it out >.<  I think this cream is probably better for drier skin types.

A further downside for me is the scent. I can't really describe what it smells like, I've read on some other reviews that some people describe it as a florally or creamy scent (like Missha's) but other than Missha's I can't really stand this smell. It's too artificial for me. Luckily it soon fades away after application.

The coverage is pretty good and I have to say my skin still looked pretty much flawless at the end of the day (of course I set the foundation with powder) so the lasting power is quite amazing. Although there was quite a dewy finish at first application I didn't look too oily after hours of wearing (I have oily to combination skin) So that's definitely a plus.

Bare Skin :

One layer (Sorry again for the different angles and lighting >.< Since I'm quite new at blogging I still have to figure out how to take those photos properly s: ) :

Overall I would recommend this to people:

  • who have light to medium skin (NC 20 - NC 25) with yellowy to peachy undertones
  • who want a dewy finish (normal to dry skin)
  • who want buildable coverage

After I used this BB Cream again after a long time I have to say I think I'll definitely have to use it more after I used up my other BB Creams that I like more ^^. I was always wondering why this BB Cream was hyped so much because as I said when I first tried it out I didn't like the smell and it didn't seem so much suitable for my oily skin. But the result and oil control at the end of the day pretty much impressed me in direct comparison and the color is a good match for my current skintone.

TonyMoly Dear Me Petite Cotton BB Cream Review

08:51 Luna Solaris 0 Comments

What it claims:

" Makes your skin baby-soft as it adheres lightly to your skin and gives your skin flawless finish. It deliveres appropriate makeup coverage to your skin without leaving an oily residue behind. "

This BB Cream only comes in one shade #1 Cotton Beige. Unfortunatly it is way too light for me at the moment :( but I still like it quite a lot actually. Unlike most other BB Creams the finish isn't so dewy but more on the matte side and it gives me quite good oil control which I really need.

The coverage is pretty good. It's not too heavy, it goes from light to medium but is definitely buildable. I like the smooth finish that it gives.

As the name implies it smells kinda like fresh cotton or fresh laundry and I really like the scent but it soon fades away after appliance so it won't bother you troughtout the day if you don't like heavy scents.

Hmm what else can I say? I think this would be my second favourite BB Cream after the pink Skin79 one if only it would come in a shade that would match my skin better :( ... It has a slight greyish cast and as I said it is too light for me. When I get lighter again I definitely gonna grab to this one more again but for now I use the Skinfood Apple Cinnamon Tea one the most because it's the best match for me.

Overall I would recommend this for people who:

  • have combination to oily skin and want a matte finish
  • like fresh scents
  • have quite fair skin (NC 15- NC 20 maybe also NW 15 - NW 20 because it seems pretty neutral to me in matters of undertones)

Oh and sorry for the different lighting but it is Winter here in Germany so it's mostly quite dark and grey outside and I usually have to take my pictures under artificial light. I was able to take the pictures of my face under natural lighting today that's why it looks so different.

Skinfood Good Afternoon Apple Cinnamon Tea BB Cream

10:07 Luna Solaris 0 Comments

 This is what it claims:

" This BB Cream is a brightening BB Cream that re-illuminates skin with apple extract and detoxifies impurities with cinnamon, promoting a more even and brighter skin tone. With SPF 36 PA++. "

I have shade  #2. So when I first tried it out I didn't like it so much because I have very oily skin and this BB Cream has quite a dewy finish and doesn't offer much oil control if any at all. I know that there is one BB Cream in Skinfoods Good Afternoon Line especially for Oil Control (Peach Green Tea), but I was quite keen on getting the Apple and Cinnamon one because I just love Apples and Cinnamon ^.^
So you probably wonder I it is now my most used BB cream :) Well when I went on holidays to Mauritius a few months ago I didn't want to take too much make up with me and so I thought why not kill two birds with one stone  and bring this BB cream because it also has  an SPF 36 PA++ and it is the darkest BB Cream I own. So when I tanned a little bit I didn't have to worry much about matching my skintone.

The coverage goes from light to medium, so it's basically like a tinted Moisturizer. It evens out my skintone fairly good but for blemishes or redness I  have to use an extra concealer.

The color is a bit darker than most of my other BB Creams (I'll add a swatch comparison of all of my BB Creams later). It has a slightly orangeish undertone and not so much of a greyish cast like most of the other BB Creams I own. For Reference I got a little tan after I went on holidays so I am currently about NC 25 in MAC terms and I used to be NC 15 - NC 20 depending on the time of the year :). It is a little bit too light for me as you can tell in the last 2 pictures from my neck but it was freshly applied and after it oxidizes it's not so much noticeable anymore. It's still a tad bit too light though!

What I like about it is the scent. As the name says it has a slight Apple Cinnamon Scent which smells a bit artificial but still quite pleasant to me :) And don't worry it will fade away soon after you applied it but I guess you still kinda have to like sweet smells for first appliance ^^.

As for the Oil Control I have to say my skin has changed quite a bit in these few month because I've been on an acne treatment (Ill report about this late ;) ) which is quite drying. I still have oily skin but it's now more managable and when I set this BB Cream with powder my skin gets only a little bit shiny after about 3-4hrs depending on the activity. And for me that's pretty good I used to get oily after one hour already.

So here are a few before and after photos so you can get a first impression of the BB Cream:

My bare skin (sorry for the gross pictures but I wanted to you to get a true impression of its coverage by showing you my most trouble area in my face) So as you can see I have quite a lot of acne marks (yes those are just scars and no actual pimples) and a few freckles

This is with one layer of BB cream. Skin already looks brighter and more evened out but my natural skin especially the redness from my faded pimples is still peeking through. Also you can tell it has quite a dewy finish:

and here it is with 2 Layers,
Looks already pretty good to me doesn't it :)?!

Swatch on my arm :)

Overall I would recommend this to people

  • who have light to medium skin and want a brighter looking skin with dewy finish
  • who don't need heavy coverage for acne scars
  • who have normal to dry skin
  • who like sweet scents :)

My BB Creams

09:00 Luna Solaris 1 Comments

Here is a collection of all the BB Creams I currently own :)

From Left to right :
  • Etude House Dr. Oil Solution Anti Shine Dual Primer  (Okay this actually isn't a BB Cream but I wanted to include a review anyway)
  • Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream (red tube in front left)
  • BRTC All in One Homme
  • TonyMoly Dear Me Cotton BB Cream
  • Lioele Beyond the Solution (pink one at background)
  • Skinfood Good Afternoon Apple Cinnamon tea
  •  Baviphat AC Cure Control
  •  TonyMoly Cutie Beauty BB Cream Pure Angel Amy (orangey red one at background)
  • TonyMoly Cutie Beauty BB Cream Tomboy Chris (blue one at background
  • TonyMoly Whipped BB Cream (black tin in front)
  • Skin79 Oriental Gold BB Cream (purple with golden top)
  • Skin79 Super Beblesh Balm Triple Functions (pink one)

I bought all of them on ebay and I also used to own the  Pure Berry Clear BB Cream by The Face Shop but I already used it up thats why I didn't include it in the picture.

Unfortunately my Skin79 Triple Functions BB Cream (pink) is also already empty :/ thats why I couldn't take swatches anymore. I can say already it was by far my most favourite BB Cream I've used and I definitely want to repurchase it, but as you can see I still have so many to use up <.<;; so it will probably take a while until I'm gonna order a new one.

And just for color reference I added 2 foundation swatches as well: The Revlon Colorstay Foundation in the color 150 Buff Chamois and the Catric Photo Finish Foundation in 010 Sand Beige.

Reviews will follow soon!
